Graphic props are a key part to any art department.

I specialize in graphic props, key art, and photo compositing. I began doing graphic design as a way to express my interest in movies, television, and books, and it has grown into a way to help tell stories through the screen. All films benefit from well-designed props, from capturing the mundane clutter of offices to creating a convincing stylized universe. Without graphic design, the worlds we enter through films would not feel nearly as lively or real. Graphics add longevity and authenticity to any film.

I am particularly interested in graphic design as a means to learn about history, methods of communication, and historical techniques - and the relation these things have to design and aesthetics, how technology has affected the look and purpose of design and the ways we communicate with each other throughout history - from how we write letters to how we use highway signs to how we think about commercial advertisements.
